Booking
How do I book?
The quickest way is online through Fresha. Pick your service, your barber and a time, and you’ll get instant confirmation. You can book at any time of day. Prefer to talk? Call us on 07961 119961.
Can I just walk in?
We’re appointment-led, so booking online is the surest way to get a chair at a time that suits you. If you’re passing and fancy a cut, pop your head in or give us a call. If there’s a gap, we’ll happily fit you in.
Can I choose my barber?
Yes. Pick Stephen, Leah or Betty when you book, or choose any professional for the first available slot. Each barber also has their own booking button on our team page.
What if I’m running late or need to cancel?
You can change or cancel your appointment using the link in your Fresha confirmation. If you’re running late, give us a call so we can let you know whether we can still fit you in.
Can I book for more than one person?
Yes. Fresha lets you book a group appointment, which is handy for a dad-and-kids trip. Choose “Book group appointment” when you start your booking.
Prices & payment
How much is a haircut?
A cut & style is £21 (£24 with a wash), a skin fade is £23 and a scissor-only cut starts at £25. Our prices page lists everything else.
Do you do student discounts?
Yes. Monday to Thursday, a student haircut is £19 and a student skin fade is £21. Choose the student option when you book.
How can I pay?
Cash, card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are all welcome. You can also pay through the Fresha app.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. You can buy a Guest gift card online through Fresha in a couple of minutes. It makes a great present for birthdays and Father’s Day.
Services
Do you cut children’s hair?
We do. Boys’ cuts (up to 13) are £16, or £18 with a skin fade. Our team are patient with little ones and first-timers.
I don’t know what style I want. Can you help?
Of course. Book a cut & style and we’ll talk it through before we start, looking at your hair type, your head shape and how much styling you want to do at home. Photos of styles you like are always helpful.
Do you do beards and shaves?
Yes. Choose hair & beard (£30) for both in one go, a beard tidy with a razor finish (£16), or a full-face wet shave with a hot towel (£15).
Do you do colour?
Yes. Highlights, full colour, toners and balayage are all on our menu. Colour services need a patch test before your first appointment, so get in touch first and we’ll arrange it.
Visiting
Where are you, and where can I park?
We’re at 17 Fawcett Road, at the Fratton end, about a three-minute walk from Fratton station. There’s limited on-street parking nearby, so check the signs for time limits and permit zones.
Are you LGBT friendly?
Yes, proudly. Guest is an LGBTQ+ friendly barbers and hairdressers in Southsea, Portsmouth, and everyone is welcome in our chairs, whoever you are and however you like your hair. Book the cut you want, tell us how you’d like it, and we’ll take it from there.
